WHAT HAPPENED?
Rasmus Hojlund had scored the opening goal for United in the 17th minute. Wilfried Zaha eqalized quickly for Galatasaray in the 23rd minute, getting on the end of a long ball.
Hojlund scored his second goal of the game in the 67th minute to put United in front again, but the lead only lasted four minutes as Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu equalized with a great pass from Bariz Yilmaz.
Icardi then had the chance to give Galatasaray the lead with a penalty, but he put the ball wide of the post.
THE GOAL:
Mauro Icardi finally gave Galatasaray the lead when he chipped the ball over Onana in the 81st minute. The goal turned out to be the winner for the Turkish club. With their win over United, Galatasaray is now second in their group with four points from two games. Man United on the other hand sits at the bottom of the table with two losses.
