Alisha Lehmann has once again found herself at the center of attention after topping a new study ranking the most searched female athletes online, further cementing her status as one of sport’s biggest personalities.
The Swiss footballer, who previously starred for Aston Villa W.F.C., was ranked first in research compiled by Spin Genie, which analyzed online searches involving female athletes’ names over the past two years.
According to the study, Lehmann secured the top position with more than 491,000 searches, placing her ahead of several internationally recognized sports stars.
Lehmann reportedly finished above German track star Alica Schmidt, often referred to as the “world’s sexiest athlete,” and Italian tennis player Camila Giorgi, who rounded out the top three rankings.
British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu claimed second place, while legendary tennis icon Serena Williams narrowly missed the top three.
The study also featured some of the world’s most recognizable female athletes, including football star Alex Morgan, former tennis champion Maria Sharapova, former UFC fighter Paige VanZant, racing icon Danica Patrick, and Australian multi sport athlete Ellyse Perry.
Away from football, Lehmann has built a massive online presence, amassing millions of followers across social media platforms. Her posts regularly offer fans a mix of football highlights, fashion moments, training updates, and glimpses into her personal life, helping her become one of the most followed figures in women’s sport.
While her growing influence off the pitch continues to make headlines, Lehmann remains focused on her football career.
