Barcelona, one of the best clubs in the world, has been blessed with some of the best players in the game.

Barcelona is home to Lionel Messi, arguably one of the best player in the game’s history. Aside from him, a number of football legends have donned the fabled Blaugrana jersey and won titles with the club.

Here are five of Barcelona’s greatest strikers

Barcelona has produced some of the best strikers in the world. On that note, let’s take a look at the five best strikers who have ever represented the Blaugrana.

Romario

Romario - Barcelona

Romario had a stellar career for both club and country, and was regarded as one of the best players of his generation.

The Brazilian striker made his name in the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven, where he scored 128 goals in 148 appearances across all competitions. In 1993, the Brazilian international was signed by Barcelona and became a member of Johan Cruyff’s legendary team.

Romario made 65 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, scoring 39 goals. He won La Liga once before leaving the club abruptly in 1995.

Samuel Eto’o

Samuel Eto'o - Barcelona

Samuel Eto’o began his professional career with Barcelona’s arch-rivals Real Madrid, but it was his performances on the island of Mallorca that caught Barcelona’s attention. The Cameroon international joined Barcelona for £24.3 million in 2004 and the rest, as they say, is history.

Eto’o had a productive spell with Barcelona as a gifted, technically sound, and intelligent striker. Over the course of five seasons with the club, he made 199 appearances in all competitions, scoring 130 goals.

With Barcelona, Eto’o won the La Liga three times and the Champions League twice, including the continental treble in 2009.

Cesar Rodriguez

Cesar Rodriguez - Barcelona

Cesar Rodriguez, Barcelona’s second-highest goalscorer behind Lionel Messi, spent the majority of his playing career with the Blaugrana.

Spain’s international made 351 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, scoring 232 goals. With the club, he won five La Liga titles and the Pichichi Trophy for scoring 28 league goals in only 24 games during the 1948-49 season.

Laszlo Kubala

Laszlo Kubala - Barcelona

Cesar Rodriguez and Laszlo Kubala were members of the 1951-52 Barcelona team that won five trophies.

Many Barcelona fans consider him to be one of the best players the club has ever had.

Since joining the club in 1951, Kubala was a regular for Barcelona. For the club, he made 186 league appearances, scoring 131 goals and winning four La Liga titles.

Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez - Barcelona

Luis Suarez is a modern-day Barcelona legend. He is one of the best strikers of his generation and arguably one of the best strikers in the game.

His performances for Liverpool piqued Barcelona’s interest, and he was signed for £73.5 million in 2014. The striker formed a fearsome triumvirate with Lionel Messi and Neymar, proving to be a wise acquisition by the club.

Suarez scored 198 goals in 283 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions. With the club, he won four La Liga titles and a Champions League title.
