Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Marco Verratti have all been left out of Paris Saint-Germain’s squad for their season opener against Lorient later Saturday.
The club has placed Mbappe on the bench in order to cash in on the superstar before the transfer window closes, with the World Cup winner working with the club’s reserves.
Meanwhile, both Neymar and Verratti are said to be keen in leaving Parc des Princes this summer.
According to Get French Football News, the trio will be left out of the team for tonight’s Ligue 1 match against Lorient.
Luis Enrique, PSG’s new coach, talked with both Neymar and Verratti and stated at a press conference on Friday that “my decisions will clearly express my views.”
Neither appears to be in his plans for the upcoming season.
After signing, central defender Milan Skriniar, offensive midfielder Marco Asensio, and striker Goncalo Ramos might all earn their debuts.
PSG bought France winger Ousmane Dembélé from Barcelona for 50.4 million euros ($55.2 million) on Saturday, but he was not yet ready to join the squad.
