Sancho has yet to provide a goal for his new team in nearly ten appearances this season.
Shaw, on the other hand, believes it will only be a matter of time before the young Englishman settles in at Old Trafford.
When asked about Jadon Sancho’s poor start at Manchester United, the left-back remarked, “Sometimes, for people, it takes time.”
Sancho has looked bright in training, according to Shaw, but he will need a little luck to break into the United team.
“I wouldn’t use the word struggle because I don’t believe he is struggling right now,” Shaw added. Behind closed doors, he’s putting in a lot of effort. He’s putting in a lot of effort and appears to be in great shape.
He simply hasn’t got the kind of luck that you need to score your first goal or assist. But there’s no doubt in my mind that it’ll happen.
Sancho, according to the United left-back, has the potential to reach the peak of the sport if he remains focused and grounded.
Shaw stated, ” “His (Sancho’s) talent is undeniable, and he has the potential to reach the pinnacle of his profession. It’s simply a matter of him remaining focused, continuing to do what he’s doing in training, and working hard. It will be his time.”
Manchester United paid £73 million for Jadon Sancho this summer in a high-profile transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
The forward was one of three high-profile signings signed by the Red Devils, the other two being Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane.
When Sancho arrived at Old Trafford this summer, he was expected to light up the Premier League.
But he has yet to follow through on his commitment.
In recent weeks, the winger has become a pale ghost of his former self, and fans have run out of patience.
