Manchester City to sign Harry Kane? Guardiola has remained tight-lipped

Pep Guardiola of Manchester City flatly refused to say whether he was interested in signing England captain Harry Kane this summer.

The Premier League champions are leading contenders to complete a £150 million deal after the star forward informed the club of his desire to leave.

Spurs have stated that Kane is not for sale this summer, and it is unclear where he will play next season.

Guardiola, on the other hand, was uninterested in discussing the 27-year-old striker after City lost a two-goal lead to Brighton on Tuesday.

Guardiola when asked if he would like to sign Harry Kane this summer.

“Next question.” Please, he is a Tottenham Hotspur player.”

Kane is eager to complete a move before England’s Euro 2020 campaign kicks off in just over three weeks, but the chances of that happening appear slim.

Kane, on the other hand, is fully prepared to play the long game and will not be swayed by Tottenham for the second summer in a row.

While Tottenham has stated that they will not sell, a fee of £150 million is thought to be too good to pass up.
