Neymar Set to Join Saudi Arabian Team Al Hilal

Neymar Set to Join Saudi Arabian Team Al Hilal

At the start of 2023, Neymar was rated 12th among the highest-paid athletes in any sport in the world, but the Brazil international might move up a few spots when he eventually joins Al-Hilal.

The 31-year-old attacker is the latest addition to the Saudi Pro League’s seismic summer of recruiting, which has seen elite names like as Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane relocate to the Middle East.

Neymar will go to Saudi Arabia after Paris Saint-Germain reached an agreement with Al-Hilal on personal matters.

Al-Hilal will pay Paris €90 million for the 31-year-old Brazilian, who has already agreed to a two-year deal with the Saudi Pro League team as his European journey comes to an end.

Neymar is expected to earn a large salary when he registers with Al-Hilal, as the Saudi Pro League team has offered the Brazilian a deal for €160 million, according to GOAL.

When he eventually joins Al-Hilal this summer, the 31-year-old attacker, PSG’s second-highest-paid player after Kylian Mbappe, will earn more than his colleague.

Neymar Junior, the Brazilian and Paris Saint-Germain striker, might be the latest high-profile star to leave Europe for the Middle East as he nears completion of a mega-deal with Al-Hilal.

The 31-year-old will be the newest addition to the Saudi Pro League’s increasing roster of players, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo, reigning Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema, and Liverpool icon Sadio Mane.

Ronaldo’s stunning decision to join Al-Nassr in January represented a watershed moment in Saudi football, as his decision paved the way for a slew of other notable players to follow in his footsteps
