Raphael Varane Has Agreed to Join Como, a Serie A Side

Varane is a former defender for Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Como is now close to signing Varane, according to reports.

Raphael Varane has received approval from former France and Real Madrid star to join an Italian club managed by Cesc Fabregas.

Varane’s representatives will review the deal terms before he undergoes a medical and signs a formal agreement.

Fabregas played a significant role in convincing Varane to make the move.

Varane, a 31-year-old World Cup winner, is currently a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired.

Despite interest from Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami, Varane has chosen to join the Italian club over a move to the US.

Varane could potentially make his debut for the new club on August 19 against Juventus.
