Coppa Italia | Atalanta 1-2 Juventus – Player Ratings

Juventus won the Coppa Italia 2020/21 after a 2-1 victory over Atalanta at Stadio Citta del Tricolor.

On such occasions, Cristiano Ronaldo usually steps up, but Andrea Pirlo didn’t need his big guns because Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa were able to finish the job.

Following a quick breakaway by Juventus, Kulusevski put his side on the front foot with a lovely left-footed finish just after the half-hour mark, curling the ball into the bottom right corner of the net.

Ruslan Malinovsky equalised for Atalanta ten minutes later. The Ukrainian midfielder scored a goal in the middle of the goal to ensure his team did not go into halftime down a goal.

After a neat one-two with Kulusevski, Chiesa pierced through the opposition defence and scored the game-winning goal just before being replaced by Paulo Dybala in minute 73.

Atalanta fought valiantly but couldn’t find an equaliser, allowing Juventus to win their 14th Coppa Italia title.
